Is PDF Stamp Tool really free?

Yes. The core stamping functionality — upload a PDF, upload a stamp image, position it, and download the result — is completely free with no time limits or watermarks. Paid Pro and Business plans unlock premium features such as batch processing, higher-resolution output, saved stamp libraries, and API access.

Are my PDF files uploaded to your server?

No. All PDF processing occurs entirely inside your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your documents and stamp images never leave your device. You can verify this by disconnecting your internet after the page loads — the tool will continue to work normally.

What file formats are supported?

PDF input: Standard PDF files up to 30 MB.
Stamp images: PNG and JPEG. PNG with a transparent background yields the best results for seals and signatures.
Output: Stamped PDF, preserving the original quality and layout of your document.

Can I stamp multiple pages at once?

Yes. Use the page range selector to stamp all pages, only the first or last page, or a custom range (e.g. 1,3,5-8). Pro users can also batch-process multiple PDF files in a single session.

How do I position the stamp exactly where I want it?

After uploading both files, the preview panel shows your PDF page with the stamp overlaid. Simply click and drag the stamp to any position on the page. Release to lock it in place. Use the sliders to fine-tune size, opacity, and rotation.

Does it work on mobile devices?

Yes — the tool is fully responsive and works on modern mobile browsers. However, for the best experience (especially with drag-and-drop positioning), we recommend using a desktop or tablet with a larger screen.

Which browsers are supported?

Chrome (80+), Firefox (78+), Safari (14+), and Edge (80+). Any browser with modern JavaScript and Canvas API support.

Is there a file size limit?

The free tier supports PDF files up to 30 MB. Pro and Business plans increase the limit to 100 MB and 500 MB respectively. Stamp images should be under 10 MB for optimal performance.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Absolutely. You can cancel your Pro or Business subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access to premium features will continue until the end of your current billing period. Annual subscribers who cancel mid-cycle are eligible for a prorated refund.

How do I get API access?

API access is included with Business and Enterprise plans. Once subscribed, you can generate an API key from your account dashboard. Full API documentation is available at /docs on our server. For custom Enterprise integrations, contact api@pdfstamptool.com.

Is PDF Stamp Tool secure for sensitive documents?

Yes. Your documents are never transmitted over the network during processing. The only data that reaches our server is your Google account profile (if you choose to sign in) and your saved stamp filenames. Many law firms and healthcare providers use our tool specifically because of its client-side architecture. For an independent security review, you can inspect all network activity using your browser's developer tools.

Can I use my own custom stamp images?

Yes — you can upload any PNG or JPEG image to use as a stamp. Common use cases include company seals, signatures, "Confidential" watermarks, "Approved" badges, and QR codes. For best results, use a PNG with a transparent background at 300 DPI or higher. Pro users can save frequently-used stamps to their personal library for quick access.
